Steve Beard
Senior Vice President of Marketing
Steve Beard joined Stadion's management team in 2007 following 7 years as a marketing consultant to the company. As a consultant, Steve helped develop new directions and initiatives that led to Stadion Retirement, formerly 401k Toolbox, being added to nationally distributed 401(k) products. He also initiated and oversaw the completion of other marketing-related initiatives. Steve now directs the Stadion Marketing Team and is also responsible for overseeing Investor Services, and Relationship Management. An Auburn University alumnus, Steve began his 30+ year financial services career in sales and sales management before shifting to marketing management in 1986 when he became National Marketing Director for an advisor-sold mutual fund family. In 1990, Steve became senior vice president of a Wall Street-based marketing consultancy before founding his own consulting practice, Stephen Beard & Associates, in 1996. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, golf, travel, and Auburn football.
